Dan Mall on how hiring a good designer is like hiring someone to cut your hair:
You don’t tell him when to use the clippers, or add water, or switch to scissors. You trust him and his skills, so you just sit back and enjoy the conversation.
An argument could be made for some sort of certification program for designers, as hair stylists must be licensed.
Yeah, but the problem is, no one thinks they can cut their own hair, but everyone seems to think they can design.
