In this introduction video to the iPod, Jonathon Ive (Apple’s product design genius) says, “Our goal was to design the very, very best MP3 player we could … to design something that could become an icon — and we’ll see whether or not that’s the case or not.”
Yeah, they knew what they were doing. Happy Birthday, iPod. You’ve become an icon.
