From the No-Way-I’d-Try-That (again) department comes the story of Hillsong Church using iChat/Sight to internationally simulcast a service from South Africa to Australia. As you might imagine, the setup was the hard part. I love the reference to Murphy’s Law:

I’ve heard it said that Murphy is the patron saint of IT, and you know I think it’s true.

We tried simulcasting using iChat once – didn’t work out so good. (Granted, we were broadcasting from a house with a consumer-level wireless router and cable modem connection.)
