Large-Screen Kindle Photos Leaked.
Still unknown: What this large-screen e-book reader will actually be called.
It’s the “Kindle DX”, and, according to my sources at Amazon, the real news is going to be in an acquisition (“or 2”) that may or may not be finalized yet. The name “Slingbox” was mentioned.
Update: Also, the price will be $399.
Update 2: My apologies for the misinformation on the price – my source actually quoted me two prices ($499 or $399) and I chose the lower, assuming it would be similar to the current Kindle 2 pricing. As for the acquisition talk, obviously those details have yet to be finalized and/or publicized.
