I borrowed my father in-law’s amazing telephoto L lens and shot a few tonight at Generation Church.

That lens sucks in all the light from the room! Notice the EXIF: ƒ2.8, 1/100 even at 200mm. And you know how dark it is in our auditorium. Crazy.
Almost makes me want a Canon … I haven’t found a comparable lens (with that range of zoom) in the Nikkor family.

Yeah, I saw that one — and Costco carries it! — but for some reason I thought it was a slower lens. Specs all look the same though.
AF-S, too. So it’d fit a little D40 (and dwarf it). Hmm …
