Geek & Mild by Sean Sperte

Cultured Code has posted the second blog post in a series entitled “State of Sync”, or, what I call “Excuses, Excuses, Excuses”. In it, they outline what methods they’ve tried so far.

Here’s my advice for Cultured Code: you’re over-thinking it. It’s not that hard.

A perfect use case is a fantastic little utility I use for storing all my software licenses called Wallet (now available on the App Store). It’s had support for syncing via MobileMe for years, and just recently added Dropbox sync support also.

Is Wallet a database app? You bet. Does it provide OTA sync? Yep. Is it easy to setup and maintain? I’ve never had an issue.

So … why is syncing like this so hard for Cultured Code?
