John Gruber linked to this post on androidpolice.com about a malware attack in the Android market which resulted in dozens of popular apps being injected with a root exploit that is able to gather personal data and execute code.
The good news? The injected apps have already been pulled. The bad news? They had “50k-200k downloads combined in 4 days”.
It’s not perfect, but I’m thankful for the iOS App Store reviewal process.
