May 4th, 2006 When Not to Reboot
Note to self: Don’t schedule a website spring reboot during a conference.
(Look for The City Church’s new site sometime this weekend, only a week late.)
Bam! I never arrive on time to a party anyway. ;)

Thanks, Sean! It’s been fun and a pleasure to work with Jesse from 31three.com, one of my all-time favorite designers.
I hope to post here about the process. Maybe? Hopefully?

Sean –
Great new look. Well done! My sister and her family go to that church… You know Anna or Andy Swanson?
Sean Sperte 10 May 11:59am
Yeah, I know (of) Anna and Andy! Aren’t they having another kid soon?
Noah 10 May 12:06pm
Sure are. They’re having a boy due around Oct. I think… Small world man…

Sean,
I was curious what type of CMS you’re using for the City Church website? I know you mentioned possibly talking about the process, but thought I’d pop this big question. It’s really a pleasant site… well, well done.

Jay: I used ExpressionEngine from pMachine. It’s designed to be a blogging app, but is so much more versatile than that. I found it to be a perfect solution for what we needed. (In fact, we’d been using it for over a year aleady, before the reboot.)
