I’ve been demoing CSSEdit for the past few weeks, since version 2.5 was released. Every time I launch it I’m presented with a nag screen that says it’s in “tryout” mode, and reminds me to register it. I smile, and sometimes laugh, every time. Here’s why:

The IMAX Experience isn’t for modern browsers, apparently.

From a few years ago: Dotted-underline links that (mostly) work all over. (Via my Mint referral stats.)
Jeff Croft came up with a new way to serve up “dotted underline” links using a background image – I suggested a different solution, which he promptly added to the post. (Be sure to check out the props Veerle gave us in the comments! Woohoo!)

Drawn to Life Preview, a new DS game slated for release this summer.
Players will progress through levels using classic platformer controls, playing Drawn to Life like any other title before it. At times, however, you’ll hit areas where part of the world is missing. The game literally pulls you from the action and into the creation tool (which by the way, offers shading, drawing, brushes, zoom, and a ton of pretty complex stylus optoins), and prompts you to draw new assets for the game. This can be something as simple as a cloud, or as complex as a giant whale which will later act as a platform for an auto-scrolling level.

I’ve currently got four working drafts for blog articles. I’m having a hard time being motivated to finish any of them. Which should I concentrate on and finish first?
- Photography – on my latest passion/hobby
- Tools of the Trade – my workflow, behind the scenes
- Twitter for Teams – some ideas for utilizing Twitter in a team environment
- Why I Cannot Recommend EasyPHPCalendar – needs no explanation (but would require I allow the author(s) of EPC to respond to my complaints before posting)

Help keep accessibility and semantics in HTML. Roger is calling for standardists and web accessibility advocates to join the HTML Working Group. He says:
[…] unless things change, the next version of HTML will do nothing to improve the Web.
Yikes! We need to let them know that’s not okay; but we also need to be able to do so without actually joining the group – which seems to me like a difficult and tiring process.
We need a digg-user like uprising.
